I want to scream into the firmament and then hurl my body into flames.

I want to feel my skin turn crispy and then hope somebody likes bacon.

I want to feel the abs underneath my comfort cushion

while i’m making love to someone who makes me give a damn

and i want my chest to open, blinding me

so that the entire universe runs through my body from core to core

I want somebody to scratch at my back, not because they want me to feel pain

but because to be close is not close enough

and only to scratch through to the blood will satisfy,

and even then, it’s not a guarantee
